Our Vision
What began as a small idea to re-enforce positive affirmation to our young black and brown people, has turn into a creative project to help EVERYONE feel positive about themselves and share that confidence with the world! We combine our hand-crafted one of kind, tie-dye shirts with meaning adjectives, such as "Strong", "Happy" and "Brave"! The outcome is some cool looking apparel ready to send good vibes forward!
Our Team
Black Boy Joy was created in 2020 by two Black, Haitian/Latino brothers; Carter and Caizer. It started as morning affirmations that the boys repeated with their parents. As the boys grew older, they wanted to share the affirmations and the best way to do this was to display it to the world to see! Today, Black Boy Joy sells apparel that has positive affirmations. When one sees a Black Boy Joy shirt, the hope is that it inspires positivity, inclusivity and, happiness!
